Cergy Paris University (CYU)

Presentation

CY Cergy Paris University (CYU) groups together the University of Cergy-Pontoise, EPSS and ILEPS with ESSEC Business School. CYU features 23 laboratories, two centres of excellence and six open laboratories. CYU is part of the CY Alliance, which has been awarded the I-SITE label by the French government’s ‘Investments for the Future’ programme. CYU is also a member of the European University EUTOPIA, which aims to develop an open and inclusive academy by 2050, alongside the universities of Warwick, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Pompeu Fabra, Ljubljana and Gothenburg. CYU is part of the ETIS laboratory, UMR 8051, a mixed research unit between the University of CY Cergy Paris, the École Nationale Supérieure de l’Électronique et de ses Applications (ENSEA) and the CNRS/INS2I. ETIS comprises four research teams whose research activities focus on wireless communications and imaging (ICI team), multimedia indexing and data integration (DATA&AI team), embedded systems (CELL team) and neurocybernetics (NEURO team).

Projects / Use Cases

CYU University and its affiliate ENSEA are contributing to the SCALE project by investigating new use cases for C-ITS, designing an architecture that takes into account various communication technologies, and evaluating the impact of these use cases through simulations. Towards this end, CYU and ENSEA are participating in the following working groups: architecture and hybridisation, technology intelligence, traffic assessment, communication and training.
