Information Technology for Public Transport (ITxPT) is a non-profit association that develops and publishes standardised IT interface specifications to enable the interoperability of on-board and back-office IT systems in the public transport sector. ITxPT has more than 180 members and partner organisations from 28 countries, representing all stakeholders in the public transport sector (transport authorities, transport operators, IT system suppliers and vehicle manufacturers).

Projects / Use Cases

ITxPT is a partner in the South-West pilot site and leads the working group on bus and coach OBU systems, contributing its technical expertise in IT interoperability in public transport.
