Presentation
The MTPM encompasses 12 municipalities across an area of more than 300 km², home to more than 455,118 residents, representing 40% of the population of the Var department. It was previously the most populous conurbation community in France, before its transformation into a metropolis. It is located in the Var department (83), in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of France.

Responsible for monitoring, providing advice on and participating in investment decisions for systems used in buses and at bus stops (SAEIV, ticketing systems, telecommunications radio, etc.); co-leader of TPM’s MaaS initiative, etc.
Participation in SCALE:
We are participating in the Scale project as part of the I5b_VRU_BusStop_warningVehicle use case. This system uses infrastructure-based detection to improve road safety at public transit stops. The system identifies vulnerable road users (pedestrians, people with reduced mobility, pushchairs, pets, etc.) and sends real-time warnings to surrounding vehicles and to signage near the stop, thereby helping drivers to anticipate and reduce the risk of collisions.
