CD35 has been involved in pre-deployment projects for collaborative intelligent transport systems since 2014. A partner in the Scoop project within ITS Bretagne, it is associated with the C-Roads project and today with InDiD via collaboration agreements. CD35 has installed six roadside units on its network, and has deployed embedded systems in two of its patrol and intervention vehicles.
Eventually, in collaboration with the DIRO, the CD35 will be able to use these new technologies to enhance the road information it distributes to users: traffic conditions, dangers on the road, road works.
In particular, the CD35 is developing the following use cases (in Vo2V): Animal and pedestrian on the road alert (D2), Obstacle on the road alert (D3), Accident alert (D5), Unmanaged obstruction alert (D8), information on the position of an approaching / patrolling / intervening road operator vehicle (B2).
