At this stage, the deployment of C-ITS has been carried out by equipping the infrastructure with 46 Neogls Roadside Units (RSU), as well as equipping 50 operating vehicles from the DIR North fleet with On-Board Units.
In terms of the network covered, of the 530 kilometres identified in the Hauts-de-France region, around 220 kilometres are covered by the RSU network, giving a coverage rate of around 40%, mainly on the motorways that carry the most traffic.
In addition, generic use cases have been developed, in particular C2 (dynamic speed limit) and C3 (in-vehicle VMS), with a new test phase scheduled for 2023.
