Ministry of the Interior

Projects / Use Cases

The Ministry of the Interior is participating in the SCALE project to develop use cases specific to domestic security forces and emergency vehicles. These use cases aim to integrate these vehicles into the C-ITS cooperative ecosystem to improve their operational safety and optimise their effectiveness in the field. This work forms part of the activities of the North-West pilot site focusing on the theme of ‘Emergency vehicles’.

The identified use cases are as follows:

G2b: Right of way at a traffic light required by a designated vehicle

D12: Warning of an approaching emergency vehicle

L2: Warning of a stationary police vehicle

L5b: Instructions from the police to a designated group of vehicles

L5a: Instructions from the police to a single designated vehicle
