Télécom Paris trains students to innovate and become entrepreneurs in a digital world. As an international, multidisciplinary centre for digital research, Télécom Paris attracts and trains around 200 PhD students each year through its research programmes, nearly 50% of whom come from abroad. The School’s laboratories combine cutting-edge disciplinary expertise with a capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration that is unique in Europe, directly addressing socio-economic challenges across all sectors of activity.
Recognised by HCERES as a leading research unit in its field and awarded the Carnot Télécom & Société numérique (digital) label, its research encompasses nine areas of expertise in Europe: Data science and artificial intelligence – Visual and audio computing, interaction – Digital trust – Regulation of innovation – Transformation of innovative enterprises – Cyber-physical systems – Communication systems and networks – Mathematics and applications – Uses, participation and democratisation of innovation. This research addresses the societal challenges of the 21st century and is half-funded by the private sector.
As a founding member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, a school within the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), Télécom Paris positions itself as an open laboratory tackling all major technological and digital challenges.

Télécom Paris contributes its expertise in two areas of the SCALE project:
– In C-ITS cybersecurity, since Télécom Paris chairs the Security Working Group. Télécom Paris is responsible for several key deliverables in the field of C-ITS security. Building on previous deployment projects such as SCOOP@F, C-Roads and INDID, we are defining security requirements while taking into account evolving C-ITS needs, standardisation and the requirements of the European Commission.
