C-ROADS France is a project emanating from the European C-ROADS platform, which aims to deploy harmonised and interoperable C-ITS (Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems) services throughout the European Member States involved in the platform.

C-ROADS France is deploying two types of new services for end users on a national scale: services in the urban environment and at the urban/interurban interface, and traffic information services to improve comfort on major trunk roads. Thus the project provides a coherent solution for the deployment of almost all Day.1 type services and certain Day1.5 type services as defined by the European Commission's C-ITS platform.

C-ROADS France is based on the results of SCOOP@F (CEF Action 2014-EU-TA-0669-S). The project received a 50% grant from the European Commission as part of the CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) programme.
