The event presenting the final results of the InDiD project, organized by the Polytechnique University Hauts-de-France in Valenciennes on June 11 and 12, 2024, marked a significant advancement in the field of cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITS) in France. Coordinated by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, this ambitious project aims to enhance traffic management, road safety, and energy efficiency through an advanced data infrastructure.
International Participation
The event gathered an average of 240 participants per day from France, Belgium, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Morocco, Luxembourg, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Taiwan, and Australia. This international event not only showcased the impressive results of the InDiD project but also strengthened collaboration among various sector stakeholders, paving the way for future innovations in intelligent transport systems.

A Rich and Varied Program:
- Presentation of the InDiD project objectives
- Description of the new use cases developed
- Summary of evaluations conducted (by project or cross-cutting)
- Demonstrations on track and road (see photos below)
- Review of the pilot site deployments

“Track and road demonstrations were organized at the UPHF Institute for Sustainable Mobility and Transport. It was an opportunity to observe in real-time several InDiD project use cases related to traffic management, dangerous event reporting, and intersection crossing.”
