SCALE at ITS Europe 2025: a strong presence and a reinforced commitment to a European C-ITS ecosystem
The SCALE project made its presence felt at the ITS Europe 2025 Congress, held from May 19 to 21 in Seville, Spain. This major event for intelligent mobility and intelligent transport systems brought together over 3,000 participants, 150 exhibitors and 500 speakers from 71 countries.
For three days, experts, researchers, industrialists and political decision-makers discussed 150 sessions organized around three key themes:
- Clean mobility,
- Resilient mobility,
- Connected mobility.
Discussions highlighted key issues such as the integration of cooperative and automated mobility, the role of artificial intelligence, and the regulatory and societal challenges of tomorrow's mobility.
A strategic event for SCALE
SCALE's presence at this event offered a unique opportunity to gain visibility and strengthen ties with major players in the sector. It was also an opportunity to showcase the project's progress in the field of C-ITS (cooperative intelligent transport systems) across Europe.
A landmark signing with the C-Roads platform
The highlight of the conference was the official signing of a memorandum of understanding between SCALE, the C-Roads platform and several European partner projects: MERIDIAN, X4TIS, MATIS, C-Roads Germany - Phase 3 and C-Roads Austria 3.
A reaffirmed course for the future
By signing this agreement, the SCALE project confirms its driving role in building a coherent, scalable and sustainable European C-ITS ecosystem. This partnership reflects a strong commitment to supporting the large-scale deployment of reliable, interoperable C-ITS services tailored to local needs.
